Tai Chi/Qigong is an ancient Chinese wellness system to increase energy, lower stress, and​ ​enhance overall health. It consists of a series of slow and gentle movements.  No impact, no sweating, fun and easy. Among its many health benefits are lowering of blood pressure, improved circulation, better balance, flexibility, deeper breathing, sounder sleep, improved concentration, quieting of the mind, and​ being in the present moment. Newcomers are asked to attend an initial orientation session at 4:15 pm on the first visit. This is a “drop-in” class so come whenever you can. There is no charge, but an optional $5 donation is appreciated, and all goes to charity.  As with all exercise programs, obtain your doctor’s approval before beginning Qigong.  For information and to enroll in beginner’s orientation call Bob and Fran or email the office.
