Making Connections at UUFH — A Congregational Toolbox

Where your questions find answers and our community takes shape.

 UUFH is my family.

I’ve been a UU member all my life.

I have never been a member of any church before coming here.

I want to understand what being a UU involves.

We just moved here, and don’t know much about UUFH.

What’s the difference between being a friend and being a member?

I want to do something that will be meaningful to me at UUFH.

What do we teach our children about God?

How much property belongs to our church?

 Do we have a mortgage?

Do I have to be able to read music to join the choir?

 Who cleans the bathrooms?

 Are there social opportunities here?

 What is our budget?

 I’m just visiting.

I’m happy just to hear a sermon and then go home.

 Coffee hour makes me anxious.

 I don’t want to over-commit.

 Do I need to pledge?

 Who pays the bills?

I want to wait to get involved.

If you have made any of the above statements, then “Making Connections at UUFH—A Congregational Toolbox” is something you will want to take advantage of. You will come away with a box full of tools that will provide you with a deeper understanding of how UUFH staff and members connect. You will be more comfortable, and you may become more readily connected with yourself and with others.

More than 20 people are giving short presentations on a wide range of topics. Each presentation will last no more than eight minutes, including questions from the audience.
