Dear Friends,
Together, we’ve done an incredible job restoring our classrooms after the flood. Now it’s time to extend that same care and pride to the grounds around UUFH.
This is a congregation-wide, intergenerational work opportunity: a chance to roll up our sleeves, build community, and make our shared space safer, more beautiful, and more welcoming for everyone who walks onto our campus.
Showing up for our grounds is another way we live our UU values: stewardship, community care, and shared responsibility. Details about when we’re meeting and ways to help are listed below.

How You Can Help
There’s truly something for everyone! We need helping hands for:
- Painting
- Pressure washing
- Laying mulch
- Gardening
- Simple building projects (yes—nailing boards together!)
All supplies have already been purchased, so just bring yourself, clothes you can get messy in, and your willingness to help. Donations of native flowering plants are always welcome and appreciated.
Who Can Participate
Helpers of all ages and ability levels are invited. You do not need to have a child in the Family Ministry program to join in—this is about caring for our shared home together.
