Our faith calls us to build a world rooted in justice, equity, democracy, and compassion. Every action, whether learning, organizing, or advocating, helps strengthen our communities and our democracy.

Learn. Reflect. Prepare.
One of the most meaningful forms of action is becoming informed. This week, we invite everyone to read and review “A Concise Summary of Recommended Actions,” a practical guide developed to support the UUA/UUFH initiative, “Defiance of Authoritarianism: A Call to Action.”
The guide outlines a wide range of opportunities to engage—from contacting elected officials and supporting vulnerable communities to participating in peaceful public witness, strengthening local democracy, and building resilient networks of care. Whether you have five minutes or several hours each week, there is a meaningful place for you in this movement.
Take time to explore the guide, reflect on where your gifts and passions intersect with the needs of our community, and choose one or two actions you can commit to this month.

UU Justice NC Friday Action Hour (Zoom)
Start your Friday with faithful action. Join UU Justice NC for an hour of advocacy, education, and community as participants take meaningful actions together on current North Carolina issues.
Whether you’re writing legislators, learning about pending legislation, or connecting with fellow UUs across the state, Friday Action Hour offers a simple and supportive way to put our values into practice.
Justice is not only something we hope for; it is something we build together.
Living Our Values
Our Unitarian Universalist values remind us that democracy flourishes when people participate, communities care for one another, and love is put into action. Every phone call, email, meeting, conversation, and act of public witness helps strengthen the Beloved Community we seek to create.
No one can do everything, but each of us can do something. Thank you for being part of this shared work.
Reminder: Please report your actions by updating this form. Tracking participation helps UUFH better understand our collective impact and celebrate the ways our congregation is living its values.
