Stirring our souls and bringing our voices together in harmony, music is an important part of our worship services. Our Music Ministry Director, Janey Ryan, works with our minister and guest speakers to select instrumental and vocal music that elevates the service theme.
Our hymns often come from Singing the Living Tradition and Singing the Journey. We sing as a congregation and enjoy music from our choir and guest musicians.
How to Get Involved
If you like to sing with others, can carry a tune, and read music enough to get around in your section, you are invited to join the choir!
The UUFH choir rehearses one evening a week, and we sing for two to three services a month; more during the holiday times. We have a good time being together, and enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to share the beauty and spirituality of music with our congregation.
