You’re invited to join our neighbors for a Community Block Party and Voter Registration Event sponsored by Green Meadows activist Debbie Roundtree and supported by UUFH.
Saturday, October 3 | 3:00–8:00 p.m.
Sullivan Park | 713 Martin Circle
We’re expecting approximately 200 community members for an afternoon and evening of food, fun, connection, and civic engagement.
This election season, we have an opportunity to step outside our usual bubbles and connect with people we may not otherwise meet, especially neighbors from different backgrounds and experiences. Grassroots power begins with listening, finding common ground, building relationships, and making sure everyone in Henderson County feels heard and valued.
The Event Will Include
- Voter registration opportunities
- Community resource and information booths
- Family-friendly activities
- Food and entertainment
- Opportunities to meet political candidates
How You Can Help
Volunteer:
We need volunteers to work two-hour shifts in the voter registration area. No special expertise is required, just a willingness to welcome neighbors and help create a positive, inclusive experience.
Donate:
Monetary donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to Debbie Roundtree.
