Misty Mountain CUUPs invites you to mark the Autumn Equinox with us on Sunday, September 20th, at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall.
This is recognized as a traditional holiday that marks the change from summer to fall. It’s a time to celebrate the harvest, give thanks for the food and abundance, and reflect on balance while the day and night are equal.
We will begin with a potluck at 11:30am, followed by a simplified Mabon (Autumn Equinox) ritual open to the congregation at 12:30pm.
If you have been interested in giving cUUps a try, this is a great opportunity to learn more about our earth-based and UU-aligned practices.
Please bring a dish according to where your last name falls in the alphabet: A–H: Salad or side dish I–P: Dessert Q–Z: Main dish
Bring a place setting (plate & utensils) for each person in your party. Settings will be available for those who forget or have their hands full with little UUs and diaper bags.
Please do not leave anything behind! Take your serving dish and any leftovers home with you.
Join us as we share a meal, reflect on the season, and celebrate community, gratitude, and abundance together!
