Embracing Radiance: A Summer Solstice Ritual

The Misty Mountain CUUPs invites you to celebrate Litha, the Summer Solstice, on Friday, June 19th, from 6 to 8 PM!

This is a time to honor the sun, embrace abundance, and reflect on our inner light as the year reaches its brightest day.

This year, we’re marking it with an evening celebration to soak up every last drop of that glorious summer light. Our celebration will feature a sun blessing to honor the warmth and life around us, a herbal crafting ritual to carry the sun’s energy forward, and moments of reflection on personal empowerment.

Feel free to bring herbs or small jars to create your own charm of summer energy. We’ll also be firing up the oven for a hot dog dinner! Hot dogs and buns provided, and don’t worry, we’ll have vegan and gluten free!

We’d love for you to bring a side dish or drinks to share to round out our feast. Think potato salad, corn, fruit, lemonade, iced tea, dessert: whatever says summer to you. (Please label allergens.)

Dress with summer in mind, such as florals, yellows and golds, your brightest colors, or whatever makes you feel like sunshine. Come ready to celebrate the height of the year with good food, good magic, and good people.

We look forward to greeting the solstice with you!
