Join Our UU Common Read: Authentic Selves

Rev. George warmly invites you to be part of this year’s UU Common Read, a shared spiritual and learning experience that brings our community together around a powerful and timely book.

This year’s selection is Authentic Selves: Celebrating Trans and Nonbinary People and Their Families, edited by Peggy Gillespie. Through personal stories, reflection, and thoughtful discussion, the book invites us to deepen our understanding, expand our compassion, and live more fully into our UU values of dignity, equity, and inclusion.

Discussion Series Details

We will gather for a four-part, monthly discussion series, with the remaining sessions on:

  • April 13
  • May 4
  • May 18
  • June 1

Time: 12:00–1:30 pm
Location: Fellowship Hall
Format: Hybrid (in person + Zoom)
What to bring: A bag lunch

You are welcome to attend any or all sessions—come when you can, for the conversations that fit your schedule.
