Misty Mountain Covenant of UU Pagans (MMCUUPS) is an earth‑centered spiritual group affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hendersonville that celebrates nature‑based traditions in harmony with UU values.

CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) chapters offer networking, educational opportunities, rituals, workshops, and social gatherings for people interested in Pagan or earth‑centered spirituality.

Misty Mountain CUUPS has been part of UUFH since 2013 and invites everyone, whether you identify as Pagan or are simply curious, to participate in seasonal celebrations, sabbats, and community events that honor our spiritual connection with the natural world.

Seasonal Celebrations

  • Yule (Winter Solstice, ~Dec 21): The longest night and rebirth of the sun.
  • Imbolc (Feb 1–2): The first signs of spring, focusing on purification and new beginnings.
  • Ostara (Spring Equinox, ~Mar 21): Balance of light and dark; a time for growth.
  • Beltane (May 1): A celebration of fire, fertility, and passion.
  • Litha (Summer Solstice, ~Jun 21): The longest day, celebrating the peak of life and light.
  • Lughnasadh/Lammas (Aug 1): The first harvest festival, focusing on gratitude.
  • Mabon (Autumn Equinox, ~Sept 21): Second harvest and a time of balance.
  • Samhain (Oct 31–Nov 1): The “Witches’ New Year,” honoring ancestors and the thinning veil.
