Rev. George Grimm-Howell (he/him) brings a vibrant commitment to building a multigenerational and multicultural community grounded in love, justice, and healing. He became our settled minister in August 2024.
A graduate of United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, he previously served UU congregations in Columbia and Jefferson City, Missouri, and he was ordained in St. Louis in June 2024.
His ministry often weaves socially transformative art into worship and creates space for meaningful dialogue both within UUFH and throughout Hendersonville, especially in solidarity with LGBTQ+ people, people of color, migrants, and indigenous communities.
Rooted in Indiana farm country and shaped by decades of UU life in St. Louis, Rev. George felt the call to ministry mid-life and pursued seminary beginning in 2017. His theology is open and imaginative, drawing from pantheism, religious naturalism, and Earth-centered spirituality, as well as the Jewish and Christian traditions.
Rev. George’s vision for ministry in Hendersonville is to create a community of care centered around love, both at UUFH and for those in our community who are marginalized, suffering, or just plain lonely.
At UUFH, Rev. George’s vision is simple and bold. He hopes to create a shared ministry for all ages that embraces music and the arts, poetry, and joyful worship that stirs the heart, engages the body, and fosters spiritual growth.

The occasion of St. Patrick's Day invites us to explore the interwoven traditions of pre-Christian Gaelic paganism and the Catholic faith. Our March theme of paying attention encourages us to embrace the subtle ways that cultures meet and merge.
With the theme “Ways to Put Love into Action,” the World Café becomes a lived expression of UU theology—inviting participants to practice love through presence, curiosity, and connection, and to carry that love outward into the wider world.
