Meg and Todd Hoke will lead a service where music and spoken word take equal center stage. It will be different from our usual Sunday service, and we think that’s exactly what makes it worth experiencing.

Meg and Todd Hoke will present a service wherein music and spoken word bear equal weight. It will be different, and that’s a good thing!

The last time Meg and Todd Hoke led a service, way back in 2023, it followed the format they will use on October 11.

Over the course of the service, they will share five songs interwoven with spoken word, and the congregation will play a large part. Please don’t get nervous — Meg will lead the way!

There will be original songs by Todd and “The Garden Song” because that’s Jan P’s favorite and, probably, one by Dolly.

Because we can all use some Dolly in our Sunday.

1st Song  Garden Song                                                      Todd & Congregation

Music and lyrics by David Mallett

**Chorus will need to be on the screens so the congregation can sing along**

Inch by inch, row by row, gonna make this garden grow

All you need is a rake and a hoe, and a piece of fertile ground

Inch by inch, row by row, someone bless these seeds I grow

Someone warm them from below ‘til the rains come tumbling down
