Through the lens of African American art, we will illuminate the often hidden history of Black Americans to life in Hendersonville and the Carolinas. Our story-telling will be informed by Terry Tempest Williams’ concept of the Holy Ordinary, including the “radical act of attending to beauty and carrying forward against all odds” and the power of bearing witness to our interwoven existence.
