John’s journey has taken him across the country and through an impressive variety of careers. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he has worked in the culinary field, sales, truck driving, and many other roles before finding his calling in community service.

Here in Hendersonville, John founded a nonprofit dedicated to disaster relief, reflecting his deep commitment to helping neighbors in times of need. When he’s not serving the community, John enjoys playing the trumpet and video games.

John is grateful to have found a spiritual community that shares his progressive values and looks forward to connecting with others at UUFH.
