Asheville GreenWorks Offers “Hard 2 Recycle” Day

Saturday June 27th, 10am-2pm
1298 Patton Avenue (Aaron’s Parking Lot)

Asheville Greenworks is a 501c3 nonprofit organization

*This event will be run by GreenWorks staff and Volunteer Leaders. We do not need other volunteers at this time.*

Asheville GreenWorks is happy to provide an adapted June Hard 2 Recycle event to the community. Safety is our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic; we will be implementing some changes to the June event to ensure precautions are taken. Please note that we will have a limited list of accepted items and that volunteers will not be unloading cars. If you are in the high-risk category, please stay home and limit your exposure to others. Remember, there are many other ways to recycle your items, throughout the year.

We are ONLY accepting the following items:
TVs ($10 fee – check made out to Biltmore Iron & Metal or card)
Styrofoam (no fee: packaging and food grade only)
Electronics, appliances
Scrap metal
Batteries

Donations to support our Hard 2 Recycle events are greatly appreciated. Safety is our top priority during this event and we will be limiting the exchange of cash and other transactions.
