We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We are religiously progressive and radically inclusive.

We engage in practice and service for love, justice, and peace.

We are the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hendersonville and we welcome you: your whole self, with all your truths and your doubts, your worries and your hopes. Join us on this extraordinary adventure of faith!

We need not think alike to love alike.

As Unitarian Universalists, we have a history of thinking for ourselves. We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds: people who grew up in church, people who have no religious background, people who believe in a God, people who don’t, and people who let the mystery be.

Seven Guiding Principles serve as our moral and ethical compass. They include the worth of each person, the right to choose one’s own beliefs, and the need for for justice, compassion, and environmental stewardship. We live out these Principles within a living tradition of wisdom and spirituality.

We are people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. As a Welcoming Congregation, our members publicly welcome bisexual, gay, lesbian, gender non-conforming, queer and transgender people.

We welcome and affirm people of all abilities, and we strive to make our spaces and activities accessible to everyone.

We value the interdependent web of life and our role within it. As a Green Sanctuary, we practice environmental justice and sustainability on campus and in our programs.

Throughout our congregation’s history we’ve been a self-motivated group dedicated to making the world a better place starting with ourselves and our own community. We invite you to join us!
