Who We Are

Guided by love and reason, we are an inclusive and welcoming community where people find purpose, connection, and a sense of belonging.

Diverse in faith, ethnicity, history, and spirituality, we are a people united by a shared commitment to love, justice, and making a meaningful difference in the world.

A Faith for Our Time

We affirm in the worth and dignity of every person, and we actively care for others and the planet we share. We seek wisdom from lived experience, inspiration from music and the arts, and guidance from both ancient wisdom and modern thought. Explore more about what we believe.

What Unites Us

What unites us is our open and inclusive perspective, rooted our shared values with love at the center. We are also bound together by our shared experiences:

  • worship that inspires and challenges us,
  • opportunities for faith formation and milestones,
  • our commitment to social justice,
  • welcoming those on the margins, and
  • our everyday acts of love and compassion.

What We Value

Our beliefs are diverse and inclusive. We have no shared creed. Our shared covenant is expressed through the inseparable and deeply interdependent shared values of interdependence, pluralism, justice, transformation, generosity, and equity — all centered around love.

Unitarianism and Universalism both have origins as liberal Christian traditions. Today, we embrace diverse teachings from many different global religions and philosophies.

Our Spiritual Practices

We live our faith through service to others. We welcome and affirm people of all abilities, striving to make our spaces and activities accessible to everyone. As a Welcoming Congregation, our members publicly welcome bisexual, gay, lesbian, gender non-conforming, queer and transgender people. As a Green Sanctuary, we practice environmental justice and sustainability.
