Samhain is a Gaelic festival on 1 November marking the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or “darker half” of the year. This is about halfway between the autumnal equinox and winter solstice
All things are in balance for one moment and that on this day one’s fate for the coming year was sealed
Lughnasadh is the first of three autumn celebrations in the Wheel of the Year.
Litha, a pagan holiday, (also known as Midsummer) occurs on the summer solstice, and celebrates the beginning of summer.
Ostara symbolizes fertility, rebirth, and renewal.
All things are in balance for one moment and that on this day one’s fate for the coming year was sealed
Simultaneously celebrate the shortest day of the year, midwinter, the return of the Sun, and a festival of rebirth.
It is believed that this is the time when the veil between this world and the next is thin, and a time to honor our ancestors, and loved ones who are no longer with us.
