Yule Ball and Winter Solstice Celebration- MMCUUPS

The pagan celebration of the winter solstice is known as Yule. It’s one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world. It simultaneously celebrates the shortest day of the year, midwinter, the return of the Sun, and a festival of rebirth. .
 This festival has been on the calendar for centuries.

All are invited to join MMCUUPS on Sunday, December 19th from 6-9pm
for a Yule Ball and Winter Solstice Celebration  in Fellowship Hall at  UUFH..
  The event will include Yule folktale reading, a photo booth, a craft table, as well as music and dancing.
You may choose to dress in formal attire or simply come as you are. 
Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.( under a canopy outside)
Children are welcome to this event.
