This years Pledge Drive is off to a great start! 

The ice cream social and chocolate chip cookie bake-off this past Sunday proved to be a great way to kick things off! There was plenty of ice cream and a great variety of toppings. It was yummy!

The chocolate cookie bake-off was a hit as well. There were initially six entries with two late arrivals to sample. All the cookies contained chocolate chips with some including pecans, peanut butter and even pistachios. The overall consensus was all of the cookies were delicious. A big UUFH thank you to all of our bakers!

It’s time to end the suspense and announce the winner of the bake-off. Drum roll please!! The winner of the UUFH inaugural chocolate chip cookie bake off is Susan White!!

Susan’s cookie ( # 4) received four times the number of votes as her nearest competitor!  Congratulations Susan !
