We gather via Zoom for Stones of Compassion & Beloved Conversations every Sunday. If you have never participated, please plan to arrive around 11:15 AM so that we can give you a quick orientation. Otherwise, try to arrive around 5 minutes before the start time. You may be put in a waiting room before being allowed in.

We recommend watching the recorded worship service beforehand, but it is not necessary!

What is Stones of Compassion?
A way for us to share our joys, sorrows, concerns and milestones and to hold space for one another. If you have never participated in a Zoom meeting, please go HERE and HERE for a better understanding of how to take part. If you do not receive our weekly updates email, you will not have access to our meeting. Please call our office and leave a message so that we can get you connected with us. In a regular worship service, a stone is selected by a congregant or worship leader and placed in a bowl of water. It’s a symbolic way of putting what is on our hearts in a vessel that represents our collective compassion and our connection to the whole.

What is Beloved Conversations?
Our Interim Minister, Rev. Don, originated this new gathering. During the recorded worship services, Don (or guest minister/speaker) will give us some things to reflect upon. These can then be shared with one another is small group sessions. The Zoom platform allows us to break a large group into smaller groups. This allows for small group connections and gives us all a chance to check in and to share our thoughts and feelings about the worship service and anything else that is going on in our lives.
