Sunday Service at the Fellowship 10:30 am – All Ages
Holiday Cards for Prison Ministry
Tis’ the season to sending caring words and holiday cheer to those in need. This Sunday we will take action with our values and principles, creating holiday cards for UU members who are incarcerated. The program comes from The Worthy Now Prison Ministry Network and is a part of the Church of the Larger Fellowship. It is a lesson for all ages.
We are meeting in Fellowship hall downstairs, with Covid protocols in place including masking.
Special Note: The Mitten Tree
Each Sunday through the month of December we will be accepting congregation wide donations to the annual Christmas Mitten Tree. It’s a UUFH tradition that will be a bit different this year as the tree will be dressed with mittens (and other winter items like socks and jackets) away from the general population of adults in Sunday service. The Mitten Tree is a reminder of holiday generosity and caring for one another. We welcome all families who’ve honored it in the past and those who are new to this tradition to join us! The items will be donated to a local non-profit in January.
