Sunday Service at the Fellowship 10:30 am – All Ages

Martin Luther King Day

This Sunday we focus our attention on the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. MLK Day is a federal holiday in the United States marking the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year. Born in 1929, King’s actual birthday is January 15.

Dr. King’s holiday celebrates the civil rights leader’s life by encouraging community service. Together, we will create Positivity/Kindness Bags for members of UUFH who live in Lake Pointe Landing and Carolina Village but are unable to attend services due to age or health problems. Our children and youth want their Day of Service to be a way to show some of our older members that they are in our hearts, though we cannot be together at this time.

Come and join us!

We are meeting in Fellowship hall downstairs, with Covid protocols in place including masking.
