Sunday Service at the Fellowship 10:30 am – All Ages
Lunar New Year – Year of the Tiger
Lunar or Chinese New Year is celebrated in 2022 on February 1st
Chinese New Year, Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year, is the festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar
The New Year celebration is centered around removing the bad and the old, and welcoming the new and the good. It’s a time to worship ancestors, exorcise evil spirits and pray for good harvest. Today it’s celebrated also by Chinese communities outside the country.
Come and join us as we learn more about Lunar or Chinese New Year!
We are meeting in Fellowship hall downstairs, with Covid protocols in place including masking.
