World Cafe  Kids-Style

UU Lessons for the Week:

  • The  Principles of Unitarian Universalism Overview – what do we believe as Unitarian Universalists?
  • World Cafe Kids-Style  – we’ll take a closer look at the first UU principle that reads: We believe that each and every person is important. We will meet in small groups and explore what makes each of us important and how we can treat each other with dignity and respect
  • The Fire Communion Part II – weather permitting, we will throw our words of worry into the fire, share our intentions for the new year, and enjoy s’more together to celebrate.

Family Ministry’s Helping Hands in Action:

Bruce Drysdale Elementary School Fundraiser Results: Great job, UUFH! We raised $250 dollars to help the most racially diverse school in Hendersonville! Thanks to our support, BDS students, including three of our own UU kids, will enjoy free field trips for the rest of the school year.  Yay! The UUFH name will also appear on the event t-shirt and in a social media shoutout.
