Holy Days & Holidays: Mardi Gras and Lent
UU Lessons for the Week:
- The Principles of Unitarian Universalism Review – what do we believe as Unitarian Universalists? We’ll review the principles of Unitarian Universalism together while in our chalice lighting circle.
- The 3rd Principle: We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together. We will read storiesabout BIPOC heroes and discuss ways to model our lives after them .
- Mardi Gras and Lent: What’s Mardi Gras? What’s Lent? And why can we expect some of our friends to have ashes on their foreheads this Wednesday?
