Spring is in the Air

  • Spring Holy Days and Holidays – We will take a closer look at some of the holy days and holidays associated with spring.
  • It’s Women’s History Month – We will read the book A is for Awesome: 23 Iconic Women Who Changed the World and discuss female heroes. 

Family Ministry News: 

Volunteers Needed to Prep for Easter

  • Adults are needed to fill Easter eggs on Saturday, April 8 at the fellowship hall. Please see Sunday for details. 
  • Anyone interested in wearing a bunny suit? The UU kids are writing to the Easter Bunny this Sunday to invite him to pay us a visit during the April 9 service. Now we need a helper who’s completed a background check to wear the costume. 

Bonnets and Bon Eats –  You’re invited to wear your best hat on Sunday, April 9, and then joining us for brunch after the service in the fellowship hall. Interested in helping with food or donating some bonbons pour les bebes (aka – candies for the kiddos)? Awesome! Look for the sign-up sheet floating around during coffee hour this Sunday.

Earth Day Art Class – Saturday 4/22

UUFH’s own, Ann Talley, is willing to sponsor 2 or 3 kids interested in participating in the Hendersonville Co-ops Art Class for Earth Day. Interested? Email Ann directly at annat1941@nullgmail.com. Thanks, Ann, for thinking of the UU kids and supporting local art initiatives and classes at the co-op!
