Earth Day

Earth Day! A holiday that should be celebrated every day of the year! The earth is the most integral part of our 7th Unitarian Universalist principle – the interdependent web of life. A silent and too often taken for granted partner in this game we play called life. But what can we do? Join us this Sunday as we talk about our other mother, the earth. We’ll learn about what she needs and how we can use our voices to advocate for her. 

• Sunday Night Youth Group – 6pm – Ages 13-17

Last week we ended up just talking, catching up and playing games. A very necessary activity in these disconnected times. So this week we are going to cover the information we missed last week – Fashion! We are going to learn about how fashion has evolved over the years. What is something that you think is stereotypically feminine or masculine? Is pink only for girls? What about makeup and high-heels? Are these stereotypes the same all around the world? Join us on Sunday as we turn those stereotypes upside down using knowledge!
