It’s almost Christmas! Man how the time does fly. Speaking of flying, this Sunday were going to fly around the world and back using our imaginations. Join us as we explore far away lands and learn how different people  from all around the world celebrate this Christian holiday. 

• Sunday Night Youth Group – 6pm – Ages 13-17

With Christmas right around the corner, we’re going to focus our discussion this week on the most well known holiday in the entire world. Communities of people from all around the world, in China, Australia, India, South Africa, Russia, and more all celebrate Christmas. But how did that come to be? This week we are going to talk about christian colonization, and missionary work has spread christianity around the globe and some of its affects. We’re also going to talk about a few ways Christian centered language and ideas have ingrained themselves in our “secular” society.
