January, being the first month of the year (in the Christian calendar) is often linked to birth/rebirth and change. It is a time when many people take time to examine their life’s goals and direction and attempt to make course corrections. But how do we decide where we want to go? Who or what helps us make that decision? Some people turn to a God or religious text, others look inward, and others still look to the stars. This week we are going to learn about the ancient art of astrology to see what, if anything, it can tell us about the future. 

• Sunday Night Youth Group – 6pm – Ages 13-17

This week we will be harkening back to the good old days (aka the early 2000’s) when I was a child and learning my favorite way to predict the future – M.A.S.H. A game invented by some child long ago and passed from one generation to the next in ceremonies such as this one. Are children still playing this game? Is there an app for it now?
