American Independence Day

 Sunday Morning Zoom – 10am – All Ages

Sunday Night Youth Group – 6pm – Ages 13-17

There will be no family ministry zoom this week because Sunday is American Independence day! Other than being a national and federal holiday, it is a day that everyone in America gets a day off of work to celebrate our ancestors’ fight for freedom from Great Britain in what came to be known as the American Revolutionary war. However American isn’t the only country to celebrate a day of independence or even the only country to celebrate independence from Great Britain! Can you think of any other countries with an independence day?

So this weekend I hope you are able to spend time with family and/or friends, eat some delicious summer foods, and make a wish upon the fireworks that one day every nation will be free.
