Saint Patrick”s Day
- Sunday Morning Zoom –
- 10am – All Ages
Saint Patrick’s Day! The day where leprechauns are real, rainbows lead to gold, and we all have to wear green (or risk getting pinched). But what if anything does all of this have to do with Saint Patrick – the Patron Saint of Ireland? Join us on Sunday to find out!
- Sunday Night Youth Group – 6pm – Ages 13-17
Last week we learned about famous young women who have changed history in celebration of international women’s day! This week we are going to watch a short film (8 minutes) in which 2 older men comedically get into a fist fight over a flower. This helps illustrates just how quickly a minor disagreement can escalate to violence and hatred with disastrous consequences. Because sometimes there isn’t a right and a wrong. Real life hero and the villain usually aren’t as black and white (good vs bad) as we see them in movies and tv. Sometimes good people do bad things and then have to learn to live with the consequences. Does that make them a monster? – To be debated on Sunday.
