UU Principle #7

This week we will continue to meet outdoors on the playground, weather permitting, for fellowship with a lesson and activities on the 7th UU Principle. We’ve been learning about traditions and holidays from different religions so this week it’s time to explore UU values through the 7th Principle, Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

We are now collecting offering on Sundays. We encourage them to bring their pocket change to contribute to the fellowship’s fundraising efforts.

Creating a Covenant & Choosing Topics for The Simpsons Social Justice Curriculum

This week we will return to Zoom and co-create a new Youth Group Covenant. A Covenant is an important tradition for UUs so that we establish how to be in right relationship with each other as we come together. Then we will dive into our new program “D’oh God, Book II: Lisa Simpson is a Social Justice Warrior” helping to select topics from this fun program that fit the youth’s interests.
