Family Ministry: Mindfulness & Gardening

Program for May 7, 2023

It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and this Sunday we will learn about mindfulness with licensed counselor, Sarah Harvey, of Full Circle Community Wellness.

After church, we’ll gather for a potluck and gardening work day in the Peace Garden. Over the next couple weeks, we’re refreshing this beautiful space next to the Cottage. Jobs include spreading mulch, sifting moss out of sand, planting pollinator plants, and more.

Bring a dish to share and clothes that can get dirty!

Sarah Harvey is a child therapist and writer. She works at Full Circle Community Wellness and Mountain Community School. She is passionate about mental health awareness and supporting kiddos and teens. Sarah has worked with kids for over 13 years in many different capacities–nannying, teaching dance, and teaching art programs. Now, she loves utilizing creativity, nature, play, and mindfulness to meet the unique needs of each client.
