Introducing Reel South: Hindsight

PBS North Carolina has launched a new series of short documentaries, released online, on the PBS Video App and on PBS North Carolina’s Facebook page!

Hindsight chronicles the experiences of Black, Indigenous and people of color in the American South and Puerto Rico during the unprecedented events of 2020. These six short films explore cultural shifts, community ingenuity and pivotal conversations defining this moment in America.

Kicking off the series is Durham-based filmmaker Dilsey Davis and her outstanding film, Now Let Us Sing, about a race-unity choir finding its voice during the tumult of 2020 after the death of George Floyd.
