RACIAL JUSTICE WEEKLY ACTION

At our June 2021 Annual Meeting, UUFH members approved a congregation-wide focus on studying the proposed 8th Principle, which states:

“We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”

Congregations that have adopted the 8th Principle are making history. In the webinar, four ministers share their experiences and insights with the 8th Principle Learning Community. Three of the four speakers were among the first four congregations to adopt the 8th Principle in 2017. These ministers give us a glimpse inside a new moment in leadership fulfilling the vision of a more inclusive future for Unitarian Universalists.
