RACIAL JUSTICE WEEKLY ACTION

Check out this link: Rethinking Thanksgiving Toolkit

Developed by the Indigenous Solidarity Network. This toolkit was primarily developed to help white people discuss Thanksgiving with family, friends, and communities, but many of the resources may be helpful to people of other racial identities as well as multi-racial communities. Content includes practicing land acknowledgements, reflecting on settler privilege, and learning more about the foundational myths behind Thanksgiving.

RACIAL JUSTICE FORUM

This series will resume on the 4th Monday of each month beginning in January via ZOOM.

January 24, 2022, 12:30–2:00pm.

Helen Bishop will lead us in a discussion Claudia Rankine’s book, “Just Us, An American Conversation”.  For more information and to join our bulk book purchase, contact Judy Bonner.

MEETING & FORUM SCHEDULES

Social Justice and Allies for Racial Equity (ARE) Teams are now meeting in joint session  at 1 pm on the first Wednesday ( Dec 1) of each month via ZOOM

The Team is considering EVENING ZOOM MEETINGS beginning in January. If evening sessions would enable you to participate, team members would like your FEEDBACK for day of the week and time preferences.

All are welcome to attend; these meetings are your chance to provide input and contribute to our UUFH justice efforts.  Contact Charlotte Corrigan for more information – i.e., agenda, prior minutes, Zoom link – if you would like to participate.
