We live with access to information and to people around the world. Our mailboxes, real and electronic, are filled with requests of our time, our money, our hearts—how do we prioritize our finite resources? Come hear how Rabbi Jackson weaves ancient
Jewish texts together with modern needs…and hopefully leave with a clearer understanding of what matters to you.
Since 2015, Rachael Jackson has been the rabbi at Agudas Israel Synagogue in Hendersonville, NC. She received her rabbinical education from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to rabbinical school, she worked as an analytical chemist for nearly a decade.
Rabbi Jackson is passionate about Jewish life—Torah, avodah, and gemilut hasadim—study, worship, and deeds of lovingkindness. She leads engaging education for learners of all ages and skills. Meaningful worship on Shabbat and holidays is an important part of Judaism. And doing good in the community with a kind heart and genuine smile is equally essential. Rabbi Jackson is married and has a young son.
