What do you have in common with the X-Men? Join us for an answer to that question and more as we explore what it means to make use of our gifts in a complex world.

Speaker; Rev Eve Stevens

Eve has a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia University’s Union Theological Seminary in NYC where she studied social ethics and pastoral counseling. As part of her training to become a Unitarian Universalist minister, she completed her Clinical Pastoral Education at Bellevue Hospital, working as a chaplain with patients in the ER and ICU as well as with patients incarcerated at Riker’s Island.
For a decade, she worked as a minister, leading congregations ranging from 100 to 750
members. Among other responsibilities, she taught personal growth classes for all ages,
led restorative retreats for individuals and families, and provided pastoral counseling.
Eve received her Health & Wellbeing coaching certification through Duke University’s
Integrative Medicine program. She chose this program because it relies on the latest
findings in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, nutrition, and medicine.
Eve lives in Asheville with her husband Steve and two boys, six year old Ethan and four
year old Hank. Eve is a health coach at Waterleaf Naturopathic Medicine in Asheville.
