This church year, we are celebrating Guest at Your Table’s 50th anniversary with the theme “Expanding the Welcome Table.”

UUFH MEMBERS step up for Migrant children’s Christmas
A huge THANK YOU from Anne Backer of the Social Justice Team to some outstanding volunteers:
Richard and Ivy Lottenberg , Becky Elston, Joni Sams, Vicky Smith along with a few other citizens of Hendersonville helped make sure that 15 children of migrant workers will have a wonderful Christmas. (Connie Hanna had planned to help but a sick granddaughter foiled her plans.) These individuals stepped up when those families were not able to sign up with the Storehouse or Salvation Army for Christmas assistance.
SJ Team members also salute our Anne who is always ready to see that migrant families receiveneeded assistance and that includes presents under the tree for all.
