If you haven’t already done so, we strongly recommend that you contact your local Board of Elections to request an Absentee Ballot for the November election. Believe it or not, the election is less than 4 months away! With COVID-19 showing no signs of going away anytime soon, we urge you and your loved ones to vote by mail rather than standing in line to vote and being at risk.
Anyone who is registered to vote in our home state of North Carolina can request an Absentee Ballot without providing a reason. To contact the Henderson County Board of Elections, call 828.697.4970 or online at https://www.hendersoncountync.gov/elections/page/absentee-voting-information.
If you are registered in another state, please check with the Board of Elections in your community to see if there are any restrictions or requirements.
We highly recommend that you call your local Board of Elections a week or so after mailing in your Absentee Ballot request to confirm that they received it! Also, please make sure to put extra postage on the envelope and mail in your Absentee Ballot at least one week before the November election.
Please feel free to share this information with others to spread the word.
Your Vote Is Your Voice!
