This week, Nora shares a poem about the bridging ceremony for our recent high school graduates. See the article HERE.
This past Saturday we gathered,
Socially distant or over Zoom
No physical contact and
Masks on every face.
But we gathered.
We met outside,
In a parking lot
Grey clouds advancing
Warning drops falling.
And still we gathered.
To Celebrate,
the bridging of two worlds.
Youth and Adulthood
Freedom becomes Responsibility
Expectation becomes Freedom.
And the next generation is born.
It is in their honor
We gather.
