The Pastoral Associates are a team of specially trained UUFH volunteers. We work under the guidance of the Minister to offer ‘caring concern’ to UUFH congregants who are facing illness, moving to a facility, facing terminal illness, have experienced death of a loved one, or are facing any life crisis that needs pastoral support. Current members of our team are:

We meet monthly with the Minister to discuss pastoral care needs in the congregation. All discussions, both in meetings and between a member of our team and a congregant are held in strictest confidence. We only share information with the larger congregation with the permission of the person involved or their family. This is most frequently done at the Joys and Sorrows ritual at Sunday Service. One PA is ‘on-call’ each month and his/her name is published in the Order of Service and the weekly E-Blast.
