Stewardship Update

In normal times, the UUFH Stewardship Team would have received a majority of the pledges by now and the UUFH Board would begin the process of adjusting the next fiscal year’s budget accordingly. However, these are not normal times and less than half of the anticipated pledges have been received.

So far, we have been encouraged by the pledges that have been received, as 60% have shown an increase over the previous year. Other pledges have remained the same, and a handful have had to reduce their pledge because of tough economic decisions.

The good news as of April 20, we have received 52 pledges totaling $124,540, which is an increase of $26,662 above last year for these same 52 pledge units. We are most grateful to those who have already turned in their pledges! We are almost half-way toward our goal of $265,000.

To reach our goal, which will allow the Board to plan a budget for the next fiscal year and to continue the payroll for our five staff members, we must hear from the remaining 79 pledge units.
