Halloween Party for Families Haunted House, too

Family Ministry is hosting an afternoon celebration of Halloween you won’t want to miss! We will gather in the downstairs of fellowship hall for activities like witch’s hat toss, pumpkin bowling, creepy hands in mystery goo, and much more. There will be a Haunted House in the Cottage with ghosts and ghouls to walk through. Families are welcome to bring a festive food item to share, not required.

(Note: Due to covid, we will have volunteers making plates for the food line and require social distancing.)

  • Sunday Service at the Fellowship 10:30 am – All Ages

Día de los Muertos Tradition continues

This week we will begin meeting indoors in the Fellowship hall downstairs, with covid protocols in place including masking. Sunday we continue the Family Ministry tradition of honoring Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). All participating children and youth are invited to bring an item for the altar to welcome the spirits back to the living. The tone of this holiday is one that is lively and celebratory, unlike Halloween. This could be a beloved pet, a family member or friend. Often people choose to use a photo.

  • Sunday Night Youth Group6 pm – Ages 13-17 (Middle School to High School)

Lisa Simpsons Is A Social Justice Warrior

Our new curriculum theme for the year is Lisa Simpson is a Social Justice Warrior. The Zoom gatherings will be centered around Social Justice which includes an episode for us to watch together, followed by discussion, and interactive games.

Please note will begin to meet bi-weekly so we are off for Oct 31st.
