“How the Other Half Eats”

With November hailing the beginning of the holidays, food is often a front and center part of the planning. And this is the time of year when hunger and lack of good nutrition is most keenly felt. Referencing the book, “How the Other Half Eats,” by sociologist and ethnographer Priya Fielding-Singh, we’ll explore how and why we eat the way we do, and how inequality begins on the dinner plate.
