The BRHS Thrift Store has an immediate need for Donation Intake volunteers on Saturdays, from 10:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm. Ideally, they would like two volunteers per shift. Volunteers willing to commit to a regular schedule would be greatly appreciated! Even committing to the first Saturday of the month (or similar) would be very helpful. If the store can’t consistently staff its intake area, it runs the very real risk of losing revenue that directly helps BRHS animals because donations create that revenue. Donation Intake is the first, and most important, point of the process. Three regular hours would make a huge difference in the lives of the animals. Please help! Our animals are counting on you!
Other areas where volunteers are needed are: Cashier: 1st and 4th Sundays of each month; Cashier Assist: Tuesday and Friday afternoons, 1:00pm-4:30pm; Shoes– cleaning/pricing/sorting: any morning or afternoon; and Linens–sorting pricing: Monday and Friday mornings.
