Feed The Kids is an amazing organization made up of a seven member Board of Directors and 350+ great volunteers! In order to have a healthy, thriving organization we need to have an orderly turnover of Board members. This ensures that:
1) there is a variety of talents and viewpoints to serve the members, and
2) that Board members don’t burn out from over-exposure.

Two of our Board members have decided to step down and there’s the possibility of a third moving from the area. We feel we need at least eight members on the Board in order to operate most effectively. Our organization cannot operate without a fully functioning Board of
Directors.

We are looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteers to lead and
strengthen our program. The most important qualities we’re looking for are compassion, organizational skills, a desire to help alleviate child hunger, and the ability to interact with our great volunteers and the community. Someone with marketing or public relations experience would be a real asset; someone who can help broaden our outreach in the community as we look to add more teams of volunteers to support the increased enrollment at the Boys and Girls Club. Other skills, such as social media and website maintenance and e-mail management, would be valuable as well.
